The exotic hummingbird is crocheted in glittery green yarn to resemble the birds iridescent feathers. With brown and blue yarn also. Safety eyes were used.
The hibiscus is crocheted in bright coral yarn with green leaves. Wire has been used to strengthen the stems.
The bird is suspended on invisible thread on a bamboo hoop .
